阴虚质

Yin-Deficiency Constitution

Yin-deficiency reflects relative internal dryness or heat. Individuals may experience restlessness or dryness symptoms.

Core Characteristics

  • Warm palms and soles
  • Dry mouth or throat
  • Heat sensitivity
  • Difficulty sleeping
  • Dry skin or dry stools

Facial Tendencies

  • The cheeks may appear slightly flushed.
  • Skin may feel dry or show fine lines easily.
  • Lips may appear redder than usual.
  • The eyes may look dry or strained.

Underlying Pattern

Nourishing fluids become relatively depleted, often associated with overexertion, late nights, or prolonged stress.
When Yin cannot anchor Yang, cooling and hydrating support declines, dryness and subtle internal heat may arise.

Wellness Principle

Support hydration and internal balance. Avoid excessive heat exposure, spicy foods, and sleep deprivation. Gentle, calming activities are recommended.

Suitable Foods

Choose mildly cooling and hydrating foods such as pears, leafy greens, lightly cooked vegetables, and adequate fluids.

Foot Soak Guidance

  • Choose neutral or mildly cooling herbs
  • Avoid strongly heating blends
  • Focus on gentle relaxation rather than stimulation
  • Moderate water temperature is key

Common Combinations

May overlap with Damp-Heat or Qi-Stagnation patterns.
