In TCM terms, I came to understand my persistent cold feet, fatigue, and sense of heaviness as Qi and Blood Deficiency (气血不足)—a pattern in which the body is not carrying warmth and nourishment to the extremities as fully as it should. It felt like my body was asking for more warmth, rest, and gentle care.
That led me back to familiar Chinese wellness practices: warm infusions with red dates and goji berries, seasonal care, and most importantly, the simple habit of soaking my feet.
